Too much
immigration
is hurting
Australian families
The Australian people are crying out for some sensible answers to the immigration crisis.
Ordinary Australians have been on the receiving end of an immigration influx that is staggeringly enormous, much of it from Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
UNEMPLOYMENT
At a time of high unemployment, government resources should be targeted at training young Australians for much-needed trade and professional qualifications. Bringing in foreign workers on 457 visas is not the answer, not whilst so many Australians remain on the dole instead of being trained to fill job vacancies.
Instead of bringing in hundreds of thousands of foreign workers (many of whom end up staying here, thus permanently depriving Australians of a job), we need to build up local training facilities.
With so many parents out of work, or only able to find casual or part-time jobs, our families are suffering, and our children are missing out.

HOUSING CRISIS
With immigration running at such a high rate, the competition for housing is getting out of control. This is leading to an enormous increase in the cost of housing, effectively putting home ownership out of reach for many young Australian families.
Issues of land scarcity, massive suburban sprawl, loss of good farming land, and declining environmental sustainability also arise, all of which will impact on the future of our families and the families of the coming generations.
WATER CRISIS, ENVIRONMENT CRISIS
The environmental impact of continuing high immigration is felt in many other areas, such as in water shortages, pollution, high density housing, and the subsequent decline of the quality of life.
The resources that each extra person uses creates a large "environmental footprint", being the impact upon the environment by the need to provide food, water, plastics, and metals for every person on this largely arid continent.
WHAT OUR FAMILIES NEED
We need to implement a zero-net immigration policy, on a "one in, one out" basis, and to have sensible immigration programmes that will be geared towards accepting into our country only those people who will readily fit into our society, primarily from traditional sources such as Europe and Britain.
We need to place the protection of Australia and Australian families as our foremost priority.
