Public opinion demands immigration be cut
In a recent Herald Sun poll it was shown that a massive 94% of people who voted believed that Australia's migration levels should be cut. While only a mere 6% said Australian migration levels should not be cut.
From the overwhelming results of this Herald Sun poll we can confidently say that there are a large amount of Australians out there who believe immigration is an issue that needs to be addressed. For far too long the topic of immigration levels has been ignored by the major political parties.
Australia is at threat of losing it's predominately Anglo-European identity and its unique way of life because of mass amounts of immigration. How can those people who control our immigration levels justify the amount of people flooding into Australia? This country already has enough environmental problems with lack of water without having to deal with over-population.
It is about time people started giving attention to those Australians out there, such as those who voted in this Herald Sun poll, and realise that immigration is a major topic of discussion. Australians need to have their voices heard.
